If you've spent time in therapy—talking, reflecting, and trying to make sense of your experiences—yet still find yourself carrying the same emotional weight, tension, or sense of overwhelm, you're not alone.
Sometimes people are looking for a different way to support their wellbeing alongside the insight they've already gained.
At Frequency Healing, I offer Acutonics® sound therapy, a gentle modality that uses precision-calibrated tuning forks applied to acupuncture points to promote relaxation, grounding, and a sense of balance.
My background in mental health nursing and counselling has given me extensive experience supporting people through anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, perinatal mental health challenges, and major life transitions. While Acutonics® is not counselling or a substitute for professional mental health care, this background informs the way I work and provides a foundation for understanding the complex relationship between emotional wellbeing, the nervous system, and the body.
Many people seek Acutonics® sessions during periods of stress, emotional overwhelm, or personal change as part of their broader wellbeing journey.

My background includes supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and perinatal mental health challenges through counselling and mental health nursing. I've sat with people during some of the most difficult periods of their lives—in clinical settings and private practice—and I've seen first-hand the courage it takes to keep showing up for yourself, even when things feel overwhelming.
Over the years, I also came to appreciate that insight alone isn't always enough. People can develop awareness, learn new strategies, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves, yet still feel like something hasn't quite shifted.
This led me to explore approaches that engage not only the mind, but also the body's experience of stress, emotion, and wellbeing.
When I discovered Acutonics®—with its foundations in Traditional Chinese Medicine, the therapeutic use of sound frequencies, and its integration of Eastern and Western perspectives—I felt an immediate connection to the work. It offered a different way of supporting people: one that recognised the relationship between mind, body, and emotional wellbeing.
I went on to complete formal training in Acutonics® and now offer it as a complementary wellbeing modality focused on relaxation, grounding, and creating space for restoration and self-awareness.
Every session at Frequency Healing is tailored to the individual. No two people arrive with the same story, experiences, or needs, and I honour that by working at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive for you.
Drawing on both my mental health background and Acutonics® training, I aim to create an environment that feels safe, respectful, and deeply grounding.
My work is particularly suited to people who:
• Have spent time in talk therapy and are looking to explore a different approach to wellbeing
• Experience stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or a sense of feeling disconnected from themselves
• Are interested in gentle, body-aware practices that support relaxation and self-reflection
• Are navigating a significant life transition and seeking space to reconnect and restore
• Feel curious about the potential of sound and vibration as part of their wellbeing journey
My nursing and counselling background means I bring a strong understanding of mental health, emotional wellbeing, medications, clinical presentations, and the many ways people respond to stress and adversity.
Acutonics® is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. Rather, it is offered as a complementary wellbeing practice that may be used alongside other forms of professional support.
At the same time, I believe wellbeing is about more than symptom management alone. Meaningful change can emerge through experiences of safety, relaxation, connection, and increased awareness of ourselves.
My intention is to provide a space where those experiences can unfold in a way that feels supportive, gentle, and uniquely your own.
